Amaravati Marathon on January 10
Guntur: An NGO, Disease Eradication Through Education And Prevention (DEEP), on Monday, announced that it would organise Amaravati Marathon on January 10 to promote fitness, health and wellness of the people.
It announced that around 15,000 members would participate in the event. The founders of DEEP, K. Rakesh and V. Madhu, stated that to provide a brighter future for budding sportspersons, they have planned to organise the event. The event would be held with the support of the state government of Andhra Pradesh, under the aegis of department of Tourism & Culture, AP Police, SAAP, APSCHE and CRDA.
The Amaravati Marathon would be a platform for people of AP to join hands and come together to build a great capital city which is smart, DEEP founders said.
