The recent release, Sankarabharanam, has given Nikhil his best openings till date. “The film released in nearly 600 screens and this was the best opening for me,” says the actor, adding that he had never expected such large collections. “The collections for three days have crossed nearly Rs 10 crore; I had never expected this kind of revenues,” he adds.
He says, that his purpose behind doing the film was to reach a wider audience. “With this film I reached every nook and corner of the two states. This will help me with my next projects,” says the actor.
