The two have begun shooting for their upcoming film 'Kabali'.
Mumbai: Radhika Apte shot her first scene with Rajinikanth for 'Kabali' in Goa. Even though Radhika has worked in several Tamil films in the past, she isn’t quite familiar with the language. Hence, she was extremely nervous by giving her take. However, Rajinikanth made her feel comfortable by encouraging her while she spoke her lines. He maintained a light atmosphere by cracking a joke and even complimented Radhika for her work.
After pulling a tedious day, Radhika took to her social networking account to post a picture with Rajinikanth. She captioned it as, "With the man himself!! #Thalaivar #Kabali"
Radhika is the fourth Bollywood actress- after Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Sonakshi Sinha to star opposite Rajinikanth. The actress who considers Rajinikanth an exceptional star considers it to be a rare opportunity and is thrilled that the film fell into place.
The film will be shot in Chennai, Malaysia, Bangkok and Hong Kong and dubbed and simultaneously released in Telugu as Mahadeva.
