Guntur: The state government has issued notification to pool islands under the Land Pooling Scheme (LPS) in the jurisdiction of four villages on Sunday. Guntur collector, Kantilal Dande, issued a notification to pool 1,945 acres of lands from four island villages in the district.
The 1,093 acres belongs to island villages of Rayapudi, 362 acres belong to island of Mandadam, 326 acres belong to island of Venkatapalem and162 acres of land belong to Undavalli villages of Capital Region would be collected for the new capital Amaravati establishment under the LPS.
Mr. Dande said that landowners can submit their lands through form number 9.3 under LPS in the respective CRDA offices and unwilling landowners can submit objections through form number 9.2 within a month.
