Hyderabad: A corn trader of Hayathnagar was seriously injured when boiling water fell on him. Sanjay, who was selling boiled corn on a push cart had an argument with the traffic police who told him to move his cart away from the road.
This resulted in a scuffle between the cops and him. Sanjay accidentally fell on the boiling water container. The container overturned and the boiling water fell all over his body.
According to sources both parties compromised after the cops paid him compensation and no complaint was lodged with the police. Sanjay, who belongs to Uttar Pradesh came to Hyderabad a few years ago and was working as a daily wager in Hayathnagar. According to sources, the cops later apologised and paid him Rs 1000 as compensation.
