Watch: Rohit Shetty reveals that blowing up cars is not a joke

The director explains why shooting stunt sequences is the most nerve-racking part.
Mumbai: Rohit Shetty's 'Dilwale' is one of the most action-packed films of this year. The amazing tricks, crazy maneuvers and adrenaline-pumping action scenes are mesmerizing, mainly because many of us couldn’t imagine completing a wild, and often dangerous, stunt. Several stunt men risk their necks for these show-stopping stunts but seldom do we sit back and take notice of it.
In a heart moving video, Rohit Shetty explains that audiences are cynical about stunts not involving any real risk but shooting the stunts is perhaps the most nerve-racking part. The fact that a fire brigade and an ambulance is kept at standby, one cannot ignore the fear of a life being at stake.
As Shah Rukh Khan said, "We seldom get to see the real heroes behind scenes. The stunt lives on, sometimes the stuntman doesn't. Grateful to them."
In this video, Rohit tells us how each one of them wait with bated breath to successfully film the sequence. The video also traces the life of a few stunt men, where they narrate how difficult it is for them and their families when they attempt dangerous stunts.
