Ryan Gosling talks about spending the holidays with Eva Mendes and baby
Ryan Gosling opened up to Hello magazine about how he and longtime girlfriend Eva Mendes are looking forward to celebrating Christmas this year —as a family of three.
“This will be our first Christmas where Esmeralda is sort of taking it all in, so that’s exciting,” the 35-year-old actor said of the couple’s 14-month-old daughter, whom they welcomed in September 2014.
He also noted that fatherhood has been relatively smooth sailing so far. “It’s not rocket science,” he said. Having kept most of their relationship private, Ryan made a rare comment about Eva. “I know that I’m with the person I’m supposed to be with,” he said, adding that the only quality he looks for in a woman is “that she’s Eva Mendes. There’s nothing else I’m looking for”.
