Irrfan Khan congratulates Deepika Padukone for bagging Hollywood project

Mumbai: Deepika Padukone, who set Instagram ablaze Friday evening by posing in a photo with Hollywood actor Vin Diesel, will be the female lead in the action star’s next XXX francishe, ‘Xander Cage Returns’. Another picture of Deepika with Vin has surfaced online. In this new picture which was posted by Vin Diesel himself, Deepika can be seen sitting beside Vin as they both pose for the camera.

Recently, Deepika’s manager Anirban Blah posted the photo on his Facebook page and wrote a congratulatory message above it: "Am so so proud of this girl. What an announcement... What a journey it has been!!"

Deepika's 'Piku' co-star Irrfan Khan, who has attained International acclaim took to his social media page to congratulate her. He wrote, "A big congratulation to our favorite ?#?Piku for her smashing ?#?Hollywooddebut with ?#?Vindiesel @DeepikaPadukone."

Deepika grabbed headlines a few years ago when she was approached to star in 'Fast and Furious 7' but turned down the offer to accommodate dates for 'Happy New Year'. But now it seems another big Hollywood connection is emerging for the popular actress.

We have further learnt that Deepika will be flying to America on December 20, two days after 'Bajirao Mastani' release, to complete the formalities.
