The film helmed by Rohit Dhawan has been produced by Sajid Nadiadwala.
Mumbai: Introducing Kabir and Junaid- Varun Dhawan and John Abraham from 'Dishoom'. Directed by Rohit Dhawan, the first look features John and Varun in a high-octave action sequence. The two look like they're in a middle of high-speed chase through the desert.
Both John and Varun posted the still on their social media accounts and introduced their characters, both of whom are cops in the movie- "Introducing Kabir and Junaid. Get ready to #DISHOOM on July 29th 2016. #dhawanandabraham #buddycops #letsdishoom"
The film which is set in the Middle East, has been shot in Morocco and Abu Dhabi. This is the first time Varun will be working with his brother, Rohit. 'Dishoom' also marks the return of Akshay Khanna to the silver screen after a gap of four years. Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, ‘Dhishoom’ also stars Jacqueline Fernandez, Kabir Bedi and Ram Kapoor.
Meanwhile, Varun is gearing up for the release of 'Dilwale' also featuring Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol and Kriti Sanon. He will soon begin working on 'Shuddhi' with Alia Bhatt. On the other hand, John is gearing up for the release of 'Rocky Handsome' and 'Hera Pheri 3'.
