Singareni to supply 5.5 million tonne coal
Singareni CMD also thanked the SCR GM for supplying highest ever rakes in present financial year so far
Hyderabad: Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) will despatch 5.5 million tonnes of coal every month up to March 2016. Singareni Collieries chairman and managing director N. Sridhar met South Central Railway general manager Ravindra Gupta and requested him to arrange 35 rakes a month till the end of the current financial year.
The Singareni CMD also thanked the SCR GM for supplying highest ever rakes in present financial year so far and thus cooperating with SCCL to dispatch 250 lakh tonnes of coal through railway. He also congratulated railways for highest-ever supply and despatch of 950 rakes in the month of November. Singareni Collieries organised super-specialty medical camps at nine areas of coal belt. It was attended by 18,500 employees and their dependents getting the benefit by undergoing diagnosis in five super specialties of Cardiology, Neurology, Gastroenterology, Internal Medicine and Gynaecology. The medical camp which commenced on November 30, concluded on Saturday. Tests were conducted to 12,246 patients.
