Needle man attacks teacher in Hyderabad
Hyderabad: A school teacher was attacked by the syringe psycho on Saturday morning in the Vanasthalipuram area. The teacher, Ramadevi, was arranging books on her scooter outside her house, when she was attacked with a needle. Police is investigating the case. Ramadevi, 38, a resident of Vanasthali hills in Vanasthalipuram area, is working at the Narayana High School.
On Saturday morning, she got ready for school and at around 8.15 am, she was arranging books on her scooter parked in front of her house. As she was arranging books, a biker came from behind and attacked her with the syringe needle.
“He attacked her from the back and fled. There was no chemical or syringe. However, we sent her for examination,” said Vanasthalipuram inspector Pushpan Kumar. The woman was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital and was declared out of danger.
Based on a complaint, a case under Section 328 was registered and a hunt is on to nab the attacker. Police are also checking the CCTVs installed in surrounding areas.
