Bansal on Saturday inspected the project site

Hyderabad: The Experts Appraisal Committee (EAC) from the Union environment ministry, comprising C.C. Babu, P.K. Dhar and A.K. Bansal on Saturday inspected the project site of TS government’s ambitious 5x800 MW super critical coal based thermal power at Damaracherla in Nalgonda district.
The EAC’s visit is in connection with the concerns raised over the Rs 31,400 crore worth proposed thermal power plant having scope to cause pollution to the water body located in the vicinity of the project site.
