4 more accused arrested in double murder case in Chittoor
Tirupati: Chittoor district police on Saturday arrested four more accused in connection with Chittoor mayor Anuradha couple murder case and produced them in the court.
According to Chittoor district SP G. Srinivas, the police arrested four accused, who provided shelter to prime accused Chintu. The arrested included Bondala Lokesh from Punganur, Paara Raghupati of Punganur, Gallana Nagaraju from Kolar district, Karnataka, and Keelapatla Venkata Anand Kumar of Punganur who gave shelter to Chintu.
The police took them into custody, while they were moving suspiciously at Anjaneya Swamy temple in Chittoor and questioned them. The latter confessed the crime. The police produced them in the court which remanded them.
It may be mentioned that the police already arrested Venkata Chalapati, Manjunath, Jayaprakash, Yoganand and Sasidhar. Prime accused in the murder case Chintu surrendered to court. The police took him into custody for questioning.
