Imagine if someone told you to your face that they found you beautiful – how would you react? Would you be surprised, flattered, confused? One high school student, 18-year-old Shea Glover, decided to conduct a social experiment to find out how people would react if someone told them they were beautiful.
The video features her asking people to pose in front of her camera and then tell them she was taking pictures of things she found beautiful. The subjects of the experiment exhibit a wide range of responses – from complete surprise to unadulterated joy.
Glover wrote on a post on YouTube that she believed that her project was about “simply filming beauty”.
