Khammam MLC polls: 3 in fray
CPI leader Puvvada Nageswara Rao will be filing his nomination papers on December 5
Khammam: A triangular contest seems be imminent for the Khammam MLC election with the YSR Congress hinting that it may field its own candidate.
The YSRC, which had 90 MPTCs and ZPTCs, is keen to show that it is maintaining distance with ruling party, which appears the favourite to win the election.
While Balasani Laxminarayana is one among the contenders for the ruling party ticket, it is said to be considering fielding candidates who are financially sound.
CPI leader Puvvada Nageswara Rao will be filing his nomination papers on December 5 and he claimed that Congress and Telugu Desam have extended support to him.
