Arrangements on for heritage works at old Amaravati

Buses and other vehicles were arranged for public to reach old Amaravati
GUNTUR: Arrangements are being made on a war-footing for starting heritage works at old Amaravati. Pedakurapdu legislator K. Sridhar and district collector Kantilal Dande inspected the venue and gave instruction for timely completion of works.
The main dais is being built according to vastu on the banks of Krishna river with the 125 feet tall Dhyana Buddha statue facing east. The ancient Amaralingeswara temple is on the banks of Krishna.
Vastu pundits suggested conducting the programme between Buddha statue and temple considering it as the most auspicious place as the Krishna river flows to east side at this place.
Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Union minister for tourism Manish Sarma, Union minister for urban development M. Venkaiah Naidu, union minister Y. Sujana Chowdary and others will visit Kalachakra memorial, ASI museum, Amaralingeswara temple and Dhyana Buddha before starting the old Amaravati heritage city works.
