Though comedian Prudhvi has been around for a while, he has upped his game recently. The actor is seen in most films these days, often carrying the entire film on his shoulders, like the recently released Sankarabha-ranam.
In the teaser of the Gopichand—starrer Soukyam, Prudhvi is seen doing a Prabhas (lifting a huge Shiva Linga in Baahubali) act. The response has been huge and it has gone viral.
“Even I didn’t expect such a huge response; I have been getting calls continuously,” says Prudhvi. “I play an actor in the film and my films flop. So, I decided to portray characters from hit films,” he says adding, “I am also starring in Bengal Tiger. In this film too, I play an aspiring actor and my title is ‘Born Star’. It’s going to be hilarious.”
Talking about acting with Balakrishna in Dictator, he says, “First time I worked with Balakrishna garu…it was an unforgettable experience. He is a very down to earth person and the way he respects other artistes is simply superb. I am lucky that I play a key role in his 99th film.”
