Forgot to name Dhoni in farewell speech, it was not intentional: Virender Sehwag

'I also didn’t mention my wife (Aarti), who supported me throughout my career.'

New Delhi: Virender Sehwag said that missing out naming Mahendra Singh Dhoni during his felicitation speech on Thursday was “unintentional”.

“I forgot to name Dhoni. Honestly, it was not intentional. In my speech I also didn’t mention my wife (Aarti), who supported me throughout my career. She was sitting next to me in the stadium and I forgot to remember her,” said an apologetic Sehwag.

“The media created a controversy on my honest omission of Dhoni’s name. But I am not bothered. I have retired from the game and such petty issues don’t disturb me,” he added.
