Bengaluru: His Holiness the Dalai Lama will deliver the keynote address at The Peace for Economy Conference, which will take place in Bengaluru on December 6.
The conference marks the inauguration of Tawazun India, a Bengaluru-based think tank that focuses on "counter-extremism." Asif Iqbal, Honorary Consulate for the Republic of Suriname and co-founder of Tawazun India and Tulku Lobsang Rinpoche, the High Precious Buddhist Master, are among the gathering of intellectuals from around the world who will discuss the dangers of Islamism - “I want to demonstrate how the Islamist ideology is incompatible with Islam," said Iqbal.
