Get report on voters’ list: Hyderabad High Court to Election Commission

Hyderabad: Justice C.V. Nagarjuna Reddy of the Hyderabad High Court on Thursday directed the Election Commission to seek a report from the Chief Electoral Officer on the alleged deletion of 6.3 lakh voters from the voters list in the city and to take an appropriate decision by December 10.

The judge was hearing the two petitions, filed by TDP leader Feroze Khan and Congress BC Cell chairman Nagesh Mudiraj, seeking to restrain authorities not to publish the final electoral roll.
