Don Bannanje in judicial custody
Besides his legal counsel Amar Koria, Raja had some other lawyers on his side in the court
Belagavi: Underworld gangster Bannanje Raja who was extradited to Karnataka from Morocco in August in connection with the killing of Ankola-based businessman R. N. Nayak was produced at the KCOCA court in Belagavi amidst high security by the police in connection with Nayak's murder, which was allegedly plotted by Raja.
Besides his legal counsel Amar Koria, Raja had some other lawyers on his side in the court. While adjourning the case for hearing to December 22, Judge Krishna Bhatt remanded Raja to judicial custody until then.
Another accused in the same case, Anand Nayak, who is the 13th accused was also remanded to judicial custody with the next hearing of his case adjourned to December 6.
According to sources, Anand Nayak is facing charges of informing Raja about the movements of businessman R.N. Nayak which helped Raja in killing Nayak
