Farhan Akhtar thinks Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara sequel will be 'fun'

Mumbai: Actor-producer Farhan Akhtar wants a sequel for his 2011 hit film 'Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara'. "I would like Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara to be taken ahead. I think it will be great fun," Farhan told PTI.

The Zoya Akhtar-directed film also starred Hrithik Roshan, Abhay Deol, Katrina a Kaif and Kalki Koechlin in lead roles. The film followed the journey of three friends on a trip to Spain and how they overcome problems to rediscover themselves.

Hrithik, who played the role of an investment banker in 'Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara', had earlier expressed that there should be a sequel to the film.

Currently, Farhan is working on the sequel of 'Rock On!!' that marked his debut in Bollywood as an actor. On turning Rock On!! into a franchise, Farhan said: "That time will tell. Right now let Rock On 2 be made."

'Rock On!!' , a musical drama directed by Abhishek Kapoor, also starred Arjun Rampal and Prachi Desai.
