Maharashtra-based Syska LED has also offered to set up its manufacturing facility in Hyderabad in 50 acres with an investment of Rs 500 crore and employment to 2,000 people.

AOD and Syska representatives met Chief Minister K. Chandra-ekhar Rao on Monday and sought land and other incentives for setting up the facilities.

Mr Rao assured that the government will extend all the help in allotment of land and incentives and urged them to begin the process at the earliest.

AOD CEO Pratap Kandamuri, Syska director Rajesh Uttam Chandani discussed their proposals with Mr Rao.

They said that if government gives all the clearances at the earliest, they are keen to begin the operations from March 2016.

Mr Rao told them about the new industrial policy brought out by the Telangana government "TS-iPASS", wherein all approvals are being given through a single window online system in a graft-free manner within two weeks.

He said TS-iPASS has been receiving huge response from investors from both within and outside the country and the government had already cleared 69 investment proposals within six months of its launch.
