Police confirm Air India manager was attacked by Andhra Pradesh MP and his followers
The incident was recorded on a CCTV far from the incident
TIRUPATI: The police has confirmed that Air India manager Rajasekhar was slapped by the MP’s followers at the airport on November 26.
But, they are trying to identify the persons involved in the attack on the official who lodged a complaint with Yerpedu police mentioning that MP Mithun Reddy and 15 of his followers attacked him and slapped him.
The Yerpedu police has registered a case and they got a CC camera footage from the airport director V.V. Rao. The incident was recorded on a CCTV far from the incident.
“We are convinced the manager was slapped by the MP’s men. It was clear from the CCTV footage available in airport and also the footage became vital in the case,” said Renigunta CI Sainath.
