Yet another production house — Red Apple Movies opens its account in Sandalwood with Kinare, an experimental film revolving around the coastal region and telling a story of mentally challenged characters. Directed by debutant director Devaraj Pujari, it has newbie Satish and Gowthami starring. Abhishek G Kasargod, assistant to ace cinematographer Satya Hegde turns independent cinematographer for Kinare with the team hoping for a ‘shore’ success!
Mahesh back as Dandam
After his super flop debut Namak Haram, Mahesh, the younger brother of Golden Star Ganesh is back as Dandam that has the tagline — The punishment and it is directed by Bala Vinayaka. Namak Haram starring RJ-turned-actor Rapid Rashmi bombed at the box office. We hope this return to the screen will not be a “punishment” for the audience.
Lightning to strike
The Randeep Shantharam directed film Minchagi Neenu Baralu starring Diganth and Kriti Karbandha is finally releasing this week. The trio, including the director Mahesh Talakadu, Mahesh and Randeep, has produced the venture which took almost two years to finally hit the screens.
