OnePlus announces exchange offers for all its handsets in India

The exchange offer will be valid until December 31

Mumbai: OnePlus has recently been on a role as the Chinese Smartphone manufacturer has rolled out one offer after the other. The company on Monday announced yet another buyback/swap offer for all those users who have been waiting to upgrade to the OnePlus One, OnePlus2, and OnePlus X in India.

In addition with the buyback offer, users will also be entitled to receive a free B2X service or B2X On-Guard service along with the OnePlus 2 and OnePlus X, if the cost of the exchanged smartphone valued above Rs 5,000.

According to the post on OnePlus’ official blog, the company has teamed up with ReGlobe for rolling out the offer.

The company is offering two exchange schemes—buy first, sell later and sell first, buy next. For both the schemes, users have to first get their smartphone evaluated on ReGlobe’s page or registering on the OnePlus page.

In case a user opts to buy the new device first, ReGlobe’s customer service will share the invite code for the desired OnePlus smartphone and will also schedule a future pick-up date for the old smartphone.

ReGlobe will subsequently approve the sale of the older device as well as receive a confirmation from OnePlus on activation of the invite by the buyer.

Once the above procedures are completed, a page-link will be sent to the customer to avail the free Insurance up for grabs (only on the OnePlus 2 and OnePlus X) and an Amazon Gift Coupon matching the quote of the user’s older device within 3-5 working days.

On the other hand, if an individual chooses to sell his old device first, ReGlobe will assist them in the same. Once the sale transaction of the old handset is complete, the customer will receive an invite for their choice of OnePlus smartphone along with an Amazon Gift Coupon, which matches the negotiated quote of the older device.

Users can also choose to receive cash for their exchanged devices; however, they won’t be able to avail the extended warranty. Both the schemes will be valid until December 31.
