Hyderabad: Godavari water was supplied to residents of the Quthubullapur municipal circle area on Sunday, following the commissioning of the 1800 mm diameter pipeline up to the National Highway at Kukatpally.
As part of the trial run, 28 million gallons of water was drawn from the Godavari Water Supply Scheme. Of this, 18 MGD will be supplied to Quthbullapur, 6 MGD to the Kukatpally Housing Board and 4 MGD to Alwal. The water may contain slight turbidity initially.
