Congress is saviour of Secularism: Khaja Fakruddin

He called upon party leaders and activists to win the confidence of the people

Nizamabad: Congress minority department state chairman Khaja Fakruddin said that the party is the saviour of secularism in India and people of different faiths believes in its leadership. He called upon party leaders and activists to win the confidence of the people.

Khaja Fakruddin handed over the appointment order of Congress minority department Nizamabad city chairman to Irfan Ali here at the Congress Bhavan on Sunday. District Congress committee president Taher, Nizamabad urban Assembly constituency in-charge B. Mahesh Kumar Goud, PCC secretary N. Ratnakar and city Congress president Kesha Venu were present.

Congress minority department chairman said that TRS government betrayed Muslims over 12 per cent reservations. It is impossible to provide 12 per cent reservation and government ignored the welfare of Muslims, he said.

Minority department city chairman Irfan Ali said they are sending 50,000 postcards to Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao seeking 12 per cent reservations.
