Actress Sona Heiden has contributed in a unique way for the ongoing flood relief and has joined the list of actors who did their part for the same. The actress has initiated ‘Rice Bowl Challenge’ through which she intends to make rice available for deprived families suffering from the flood. Interestingly, the initiative has been insppired from the popular ‘ALS Ice Bucket Challenge’, which went viral across the world some time back.
She has been requesting people to donate and has informed through her microblogging page that around 175 kgs of rice have been collected now. Sona is trying to collect 1,500 kgs in total and expressed that she is happy over the response to her initiative. She tweeted, “Am just so amazed with the rice, and other things coming in,so beautiful to see,that so many people wanna help,God bless to all.”
