The Air India flight went up to Bengaluru but came back to Hyderabad due to bad weather
Hyderabad: Four flights bound for Bengaluru were delayed due to bad weather conditions on Saturday morning. Officials said two flights operated by Indigo, one each of Air India and Spicejet were affected.
The worst-hit were passengers of the Air India aircraft which had come from Muscat and was to leave for Bengaluru via Hyderabad. The Air India flight went up to Bengaluru but came back to Hyderabad due to bad weather.
Air India public relations officer Pooja Kaushik said there was an issue of the pilot’s schedule because of which the flight to Bengaluru from Hyderabad was delayed further.
The flight, which was scheduled to reach Bengaluru by about 4.40 am, finally landed at 10 am.
All flights were given clearance to fly to Bengaluru after 9 am, and this resulted in a delay in the return flights to Hyderabad.
