Reports suggested cadres of a political party torched vehicle

Kathmandu: The Indian Embassy in Nepal on Saturday said a vehicle belonging to one of its staffers caught fire due to a short circuit, denying reports that it was burnt by cadres of some political parties.

The vehicle caught fire near the embassy gate due to a short circuit while a staffer was trying to park it, an embassy spokesperson said, adding no one was injured in the incident.
