Thrissur: Vellapally Natesan has got “quotation” from the RSS to create communal rift in a state like Kerala which is known for harmonious coexistence of people belonging to all religions, KPCC president V. M. Sudheeran has said.
Speaking to media persons here on Friday he said the Samatwa Munnetta Yatra was being conducted by Mr Natesan with such an ulterior motive and all SNDP workers who are members of the Congress party have been asked to keep away from the yatra.
Reacting to the article that appeared in the mouthpiece of Syro Malabar Church’s Thrissur archdiocese that alleged that certain sections in the Congress had an understanding with the BJP for defeating Christian candidates in Thrissur, Mr Sudheeran said the issues raised by the Church would be examined seriously.
About the reports of a possible reshuffling in the Congress, he said consultations were going on.
