FIR filed against MP for Air India manager assault
Tirupati: A case has been registered against MP, P. Mithun Reddy, Chandragiri MLA, Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy and 15 others for their involvement in an attack on Air India manager, Rajasekhar, here on Friday.
According to the Renigunta rural CI, Sainath, based on the complaint of the victim Rajasekhar, the Yerpedu police have registered a case in connection with the attack on the Air India manager at the Tirupati airport on Thursday. The police registered a FIR under the IPC sections 448, 323 and 353 against the YSRCP leaders and their followers. But, the CI said that no arrests were made so far.
In a complaint, Rajasekhar mentioned that the MP, Mithun Reddy asked for boarding passes for his relatives numbering 15. Rajasekhar declined to give boarding passes as the time was up then. Mithun Reddy slapped Rajasekhar twice inside the airport. After the incident, while Rajsekhar was coming outside the airport, Chevireddy and the15 members attacked him.
