CM Chandrababu Naidu promises to make state a hardware hub
Tirupati: Andhra Pradesh will emerge as a hardware hub very soon as abundant resources are available in the state, said Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu.
Speaking at a programme after setting fou-ndation stone for Celkon manufacturing unit near Tirupati airport, he said many countries have come forward to set up their IT companies and manufacturing units in the state and this will help the state’s dream of becoming a hardware hub which will provide lakhs of jobs in the days to come.
“The state government has given importance to IT and electronic sector which will surely make the state rich from its present ‘deficit budget’ status,”Mr Naidu said.
The Chief Minister said the Celkon which will start its operations after three months has established their unit at the right place as it has vast opportunities to develop in short period due to location near highways and availability of manpower in abundance.
The Chief Minister assured that the Tirupati will get a new sobriquet — ‘city of lakes’ as it consist of more than 100 lakes. The CM assured that the beautification works of the city will begin soon. Mr Naidu said Renigunta, Srikalahasti and Chandragiri will see rapid development as second Tirupati city with the new industries coming up in these towns .
“Somasila, Galeru - Nag-ari, Balaji reservoir will end the water woes of the district permanently. Tir-upati will be developed as a education hub in future,” he asserted.
Talking about the state, he said we have 914 km of sea coast and abundant mineral wealth more so we have unparallel creativity, all these together, will help us to overcome the prevailing problems like deficit budget and lack of capital city.
“My dream is to make AP entrepreneurs more advanced than the Jewish entrepreneurs,” Mr Naidu said .
Ministers Palle Raghu-natha Reddy, Bojjala Gopala Krishna Reddy, Chittoor MP Siva Prasad , Celkon MD Guru Swamy Naidu and others were present.
