MHAA passed a resolution suspending Selvam’s membership for initiating action against 8 advocates
Chennai: The Madras high court Advocates Association (MHAA) has suspended chairman, Bar Council of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry, D. Selvam, from the membership of the association. The MHAA passed a resolution suspending Selvam’s membership for initiating action against 8 advocates, who staged demonstration opposing CISF security cover to the Madras HC. According to vice president K. Gini Manuel, Selvam took decisions unilaterally.
