Anne Hathaway is expecting her first child with husband Adam Shulman, sources have revealed. Anne is thought to be around four or five months pregnant.
“Anne is in her second trimester and feeling great!” a source told E! News. The 33-year-old star first sparked speculation that she may be expecting when she was pictured in a black dress at the premiere of The Intern in London back in September.
She has also alluded to potential pregnancy symptoms on her Instagram feed. In fact, just this week, she posted a make-up free selfie and wrote, “I’ve got something like diaper rash on my chin.”
And while she has yet to officially confirm her pregnancy, Anne has made no secret of her desire to start a family. While promoting Rio 2 last year, she said, “I’ve wanted to be a mother since I was 16, but I also just knew I wanted to have a career as well. So now, I think that I’m getting to an age when I don’t know exactly when that moment will be but I think I'm coming upon it.”
And back in 2012 during a panel discussion that included Naomi Watts, Helen Hunt, Amy Adams, Rachel Weisz, Marion Cotillard and Sally Field, the newlywed told the Hollywood Reporter, “I’m the only one that’s not a mother. I hope to join the ranks soon.”
