Mumbai: Another talent from Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s family has arrived on the big screen. As the critically acclaimed actor turns producer with the film ‘Miyan Kal Aana’, his brother Shamasuddin Siddiqui has made his debut as a director. The 35-minute film has been shot at Nawaz’s native place Budhana in Uttar Pradesh.
The film showcases the condition of women, which they face when they cannot make any decisions. It stars newcomer Manisha Marzara alongside theatre actor Jaihind Kumar and few of his village folks. The 2-minute trailer looks hard hitting and has also managed to generate enough curiosity.
Shamasuddin is also slated to direct ‘Ganna, Gehu Aur Gun’ that will star Nawaz in the leading role.
