E-auction helps TSIIC check irregularities
Hyderabad: Telangana State Industrial and Infrastructure Corporation (TSIIC) had issued the E-tender-cum-E-auction notification on October 30. It held the online auction on Wednesday between noon and 3 pm.
While the Raidurg lands were meant for commercial and other purposes, the lands in Manikonda and Kokapat were meant for purely residential purposes. Hyderabad-based Aurobindo Pharma bought two parcels of land in the auction at Raidurg.
While a five-acre parcel was bought for Rs 29.28 crore per acre, the company bought another 3.65 acre at Rs 24.88 crore per acre. This is the highest price quoted for land in Hyderabad so far. Even during the realty boom during 2007-08, an acre in Raidurg fetched from Rs 18 crore to Rs 23 crore.
Naya Infrastructure Company purchased 2 acre at Rs 24.20 crore per acre in Raidurg. Symed Labs bought three-acre bit at Rs 22.02 crore in Raidug. In Manikonda, Earth Papers Company purchased an acre for Rs 12.63 crore and Gland Cellulose Company purchased an acre for Rs 6.05 crore.
Following directions of the Chief Minister, the e-auction was conducted in a transparent manner online to check irregularities.
