Arvind Kejriwal indisposed; cancels all public engagements
New Delhi: All the public engagements of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal today stood cancelled as he remained indisposed, officials said.
Kejriwal has been advised "complete bed rest" by doctors owing to a bout of fever, sources close to the Chief Minister's office said.
The Chief Minister remained absent from the ongoing Winter Session of the Delhi Assembly. He is yet to make his appearance at the House.
He also skipped the Constitution Day celebrations organised by the Delhi government and the launch of 'India Dialogues', a forum for intellectuals, where he was scheduled to deliver a speech.
Kejriwal, who has in the past suffered from chronic cough and high sugar levels, had undergone an extensive naturopathy treatment in Bengaluru earlier this year.
His cough had worsened during the hectic campaigning for the Assembly elections last winter due to the dust and pollutants he inhaled while addressing over 110 jan sabhas, doctors had said.
