Hyderabad: Buoyed by the massive Warangal bypoll win Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao on Tuesday announced fresh sops with the GHMC polls in mind.
Mr Rao said that the unprecedented victory would further improve the performance of the government in the coming days and expressed confidence that the TRS would bag a majority of the seats in GHMC polls.
Addressing a media conference at Telangana Bhavan after TRS cadres and leaders gave him a standing ovation for the party candidate’s landslide victory in Warangal, Mr Rao said, “It is a positive vote in Warangal."
"Opposition should know this and cooperate on all people’s issues; they better stop unnecessary criticism and throw unfounded allegations at the government and ministers.”
