Angry woman puts mother-in-law on sale online
Recently an advertisement was put up on a barter website Faida.com that said “Mother-in-law in early sixties, a voice so sweet, it can kill the entire neighbourhood. An excellent food critic, no food you make will ever be good enough. She is a great adviser too, there’s always something you can do better!”
According to Daily Mail, the ad was uploaded under the tagline "Mother in-law in Good condition" and was in exchange for a book on mental peace.
However the post was removed by the website within 10 minutes.
Last year, another case like this appeared on the Quikr.com, where a husband was advertised for sale under the pet and pet care section.
Also in 2013, a software engineer and her father were arrested as they morphed and posted the photos of her husband in compromising position with his sister and mother on social media website. She morphed his pictures after he filed for a divorce.
According to legal experts, making private spats public can sometimes amount to cruelty, and can also become an important ground for divorce and breach of privacy.
