XPose fame Zoya Afroz, who also had won Pond’s Femina Miss India International 2013, may team up with actor Shanmugapandian for his next film titled Tamizhan Endru Sol. Sources say Zoya has almost been finalised for the project but the makers are expected to make an official announcement on the same next week. If this materialises, it will mark Zoya’s Kollywood debut. We also hear that actress Disha Patani is also under consideration for the leading lady role. The film will also feature Vijayakanth aka Captain in a full-length role. Shanmugapandian, who recently made his acting debut in the film Sagaptham, is playing the second hero in the film. Vijayakanth, who played a cameo in his son’s film Sagaptham, was last seen as hero in Virudhagiri, which got released in 2011.
Touted to be a period fantasy, it looks like the film will emphasise the importance of the Tamil language and its pride and culture. Vijayakanth may play a king from a long forgotten era. Hiphop Tamizha Adhi is composing the music for the film.
