Bosskey’s new avatar

Over the years, we have seen this entertainer in many avatars such as stand-up comedy, cricket commentator, television anchor, film critic and even occasionally in movies such as Youth, Poi Solla Porom, Theeya Velai Seiyyanum Kumaru and others. But, a foray into the Internet with an independent channel will be new for him.

“This channel will be completely opposite from any of the television channels you watch regularly. Each and every show we do in this channel will be completely original,” said an excited Bosskey to DC. The inauguration, which will take place today, will be a star-studded affair, with actor Suriya launching the channel.

“The channel will have many one-of-a-kind shows. In one of the shows particularly, commoners like plumbers, electricians and others., will be interviewed, focusing on the most humorous parts of their lives” said the experienced comedian who will also be accompanied by his long term associates Nanee and Prasad in this new venture.

Even actors like Silambarasan and Arvind Swamy appeared in the promotional videos with hilarious interviews leading up to the all-important launch. Another interesting fact about this channel is that it will completely be in English in order to garner global attention.

When we asked Bosskey about what the channel will be called, he concluded in his trademark touch by saying, “It’s time to release my own name as a brand, so it will be called BosskeyTV.”
