He also said that the 'PK' star was 'misunderstood'
New Delhi: A day after Bollywood superstar Amir Khan expressed his concern for the growing cases of 'intolerance' in India, politicians and socialites jumped in to express their varied opinions. Now, director Kabir Khan has showed his support and defended the actor saying that the level of intolerance has 'surely increased'.
During the launch of a jewellery brand in the city, the 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' director said that the way people are being attacked for expressing their opinion publically, is proof of the level of intolerance in the country.
The Bollywood film director said that people are 'misunderstanding Aamir' and taking his context otherwise as he had intended to express his grief for the present scenario in the country.
"Aamir didn't meant to say that nation is intolerant, but the atmosphere is intolerant", Kabir said.
