Actress Nandita, who was last seen in Vijay’s Puli as his pair in a minuscule role, claims that whenever she teams up with actors whose first letter starts with ‘V’, the movie becomes a hit. She stated this at the promo of her upcoming flick Anjala with Vemal, which is said to revolve around a tea shop set against the backdrop of Madurai. Nandita said, “It was Vijay Sethupathi with whom I did Idharkuthaane Aasaipattai Balakumara, which was a hit and then Vishnu Vishal with whom I collaborated for Mundasupatti which was blockbuster and then recent with Ilayathalapathy for Puli. Now, I am pairing with Vemal in Anjala. Somehow, I feel if I romance heroes whose name starts with ‘V’, those movies triumph.” Top stunt choreographer Dilip Subbarayan, son of ace stunt master Super Subbarayan, is bankrolling Anjala. Directed by Thangam Saravanan, the audio was unveiled by Ilayathalapathy himself recently.
