Jon Snow back from the dead in new 'Game of Thrones' teaser poster

Mumbai: The makers of 'Game of Thrones' have released a teaser character poster from its upcoming season six episode, featuring a bruised and bloody Jon Snow.

This marks the first piece of marketing for the new season, that features the character that was killed off in the previous episode. The teaser art also contains a premiere month- April. Jon Snow's death was one of the most talked about incidents of season five, but despite the actor, producers, and HBO all insisting the character was truly dead, a picture of Kit Harington on the sets managed to create quite a buzz. A picture of the actor in full costume on the Belfast sets, gave fans across the globe hope that their beloved character would have most likely come back from the dead.

'Game of Thrones' recently swept the Emmy Awards, helping HBO break an industry record, and was named outstanding drama series for the first time.
