Mercedes launches AMG GT S in India priced at Rs 2.4 crore
New Delhi: German luxury carmaker Mercedes-Benz on Tuesday launched AMG GT S in India in the performance car segment priced at Rs 2.4 crore (ex-showroom Delhi).
The car, which comes with a 4-litre bi-turbo engine, is the company's 14th new product introduction of the year in the country.
The company had announced its plan to launch 15 new products in 2015 in India.
"The launch of the AMG GT S is the finest example of ourtop-of-pyramid approach for the Indian market as we are presenting the most acclaimed product from our global portfolio," Mercedes-Benz India MD and CEO Roland Folger told reporters here.
With the AMG GT S, the company has yet "another winning product" for India, he claimed.
The car comes with various features, including adaptive brake lights, composite braking system, automatic child seat recognition and eight airbags.
Mercedes-Benz currently sells ten AMG products in the country.
