Varun Dhawan spent most part of his weekend playing football. No, the actor wasn’t having a day out with his friends or taking a break from work. Varun was, in fact, training to impress football star Baichung Bhutia who he was to shoot with for a TV commercial the next day.
Says a source, “Varun was very excited when approached for the part. But shooting with Baichung meant playing football too. Varun takes his work very seriously, so to brush up on the legwork, he got together with a few of his friends to play the game. He just wanted to get back into the groove of the game.”
Varun seemed confident after a day in the field. From what we hear, he wanted to put all the hard work to use by being able to dribble well in front of the football star at least once.
