Karimnagar: Not only CID, but also Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) is probing into alleged illegal activities of suspended ASI B. Mohan Reddy. This agency is focusing on as to how the ASI abused his official position. Sources said that ACB was collecting written versions of victims of Mohan Reddy in order to establish his offence.
Sleuths of CID are investigating into alleged atrocities of the ASI by forming six special teams. They have arrested nine persons including Mohan Reddy and his accomplices and a constable for their role in offences of the cop. They are gathering documents relating to assets amassed by the cop. In the meantime, ACB too decided to investigate the case from a different perspective.
The ACB is inquiring how Mohan Reddy abused his official position. It is trying to find out how he used his position to run his finance business and for any other purpose. Did he avail leave for operating the business? Or was he discharging duties regularly? ACB is collecting relevant evidence and versions from his victims, said an official, who was not willing to be quoted. Ever since the ACB began its investigations, over 20 victims lodged complaints with the agency against the ASI. Many borrowers are approaching ACB every day.
