16th-century Gothic chapel turned into starry night sky

Paris based artist Miguel Chevalier turned the 16th- century King’s College Chapel into a mesmerising backdrop for a hypnotizing light show.

Chevalier who is a digital projection artist did this for a charity event that was held in the University of Cambridge.

At the event when every speaker spoke about their respective topics, the chapel was lighted with protection that artfully illustrated their points.

The projection was designed in such a manner that at times it highlighted and emphasized on the breathtaking architecture, while at times it hid the building’s architecture.

The chapel is one of the best examples of Perpendicular Gothic architecture in the world.

Hence its ornate decorations were worth seeing even before they served as a backdrop for Chevalier’s projections.
